Aromatherapy Massage


Aromatherapy massage combines the use of essential oils with therapeutic soft tissue massage. It includes a variety of massage strokes concentrating more on relaxing techniques to warm muscles, release tension, loosen muscle tightness and increase circulation.

Aromatherapy is the inhalation and absorption by the skin of essential oils. Essential oils are the fragrant, highly concentrated natural constituents that are found in various parts of plants such as leaves, berries, grasses, flowering tops, petals, roots, zest of fruit, resins and wood. Essential oils possess natural healing properties without harmful side-effects.

Lemon essential oil is stimulating with anti-infection, astringent, detoxifying, antiseptic, disinfectant and anti-fungal properties.

When used correctly essential oils have a broad range of health benefits and can be used for a wide range of conditions. Virtually all essential oils possess antiseptic properties and many also have anti-fungal, anti-viral & anti-bacterial properties.  These are just a few of my favourite essential oils:

Geranium – reduces inflammation, alleviate anxiety and balance hormones. This sweet-smelling oil can also uplift your mood, lessen fatigue and promote emotional wellness.

Frankincense – increase blood flow and circulation. Reduces inflammation and skin imperfections. Promotes feelings of wellness and relaxation.

Sweet Orange – relaxes muscular and nervous spasms. A natural sedative that helps you to relax. It can help alleviate anxiety, anger, depression and certain inflammation.

Reduces anxiety and emotional stress. Heals burns and wounds. Helps to improves sleep. Restores skin complexion and reduces acne. Slows ageing down with powerful antioxidants.
