Aromatherapy Massage

What is Aromatherapy Massage?

Aromatherapy combines the use of essential oils with therapeutic massage. The oils, which come from plants, are highly concentrated and very powerful. Essential oils possess natural healing properties – without harmful side-effects.

Aromatherapy is the inhalation and absorption by the skin of essential oils. Essential oils are the fragrant, highly concentrated natural constituents that are found in various parts of plants such as leaves, berries, grasses, flowering tops , petals , roots , zest of fruit , resins and wood.

When used correctly essential oils have a wide range of health benefits and can be used for such a wide range of conditions. Virtually all essential oils possess antiseptic properties, but many also have anti-fungal, anti-viral and antibacterial properties.
